I assume the tank isn't connected by a line going to anyplace. What kind of outlet/fitting is at the bottom? What does the cap/filler opening to the tank look like? Sounds kinda like someone took a gas starting tank off a distillate tractor and mounted it back under the steering wheel on yours for some reason or other?
