TV, While I would never dispute or start an argument with someone of your experience,but I must say that with parts being made overseas its impossible to get things right like it use to be.I have installed several new pressure plates on several old Farmalls lately and have yet to find one that had the fingers adjuted correctly.Its just like spark plugs,the gap may or may not be right,and if you check a few thaey may be right out ofthe box,but you check them anyways right?Now if his fingers are non adjustable then I would tend to agree with you that something was installed right.
