Somwhere in the 56 seires there is a break in seiral # where they went from a 20 degree cut on the gears to a 25 degree cut and the same gears carried thru the 86 seires in the 4 speed transmissions . and this was to make them stronger and less noise . And you can change a early 06-56 over but ya have to use both gears all the shafts are the same .
