I have no idea when it was recalled but I know that it was and is probably back on the market by now. My concern is what changes were made? Walmarts had to send theirs back sometime ago.

As as snake oil I have used it for at least 50 years I think and it seams to correct sticky floats, sticky rings etc. One never knows. It is just a habit with me
