I've seen one of these and I asked how they were coupled together. Seems all you need is a axle shaft made to put between the 2 differentials. They had a piece of square tubing with a flange on each end and bolted the 2 housings together ahead of the platform. The front axle was on the left unit as in a normal A. The axle was adjusted wider on the right side so the wheel was in the right position relative to the right hand unit. Very clean and simple. Both engines ran and pulled.
