Remember if you connect the two axle shafts together without a wheel between the two tractors that shaft will spin like a wheel off the ground and the tractor will not move. You should probably lock up one differential so one engine will drive both wheels like usual and the other engine would just provide power to the axle on it's side. Don't worry about matching the speed of the engines, they have to turn at the same speed so one may carry most of the load, that is, what you have to match is governer settings if you want each engine to pull. Or you could cop out and only connect one transmission to the axles. Once the unit is built, it is really hard to work on the carburetor on the right engine and one the distributor on the left engine so get them ready to go before assembling.
