I bought a 234 4WD brand new in 1987. I have had very little trouble with it but only 280 hours on it. All parts I have ever needed are readily available from IH. Really a sweet little tractor and I bought an IH loader (5QA) brand new for it and it handles the loader well. Also have a 3pt 5' angle blade and woods RM59 finish mower and 5' speed mover and posthole digger. It works all of these well. You can power it out but you can do that with anything and just need to use commmon sense. As far as HP is concerned, it was 18 instead of the 15.2 you mentioned. That is one great snow tractor for driveways, etc. in Oklahoma naturally!
