Rusty, sorry I think the confusion is all on my end, I thought the pump up by the distributor might look too small to handle a loader or 3 point (but I didn't know for sure). The power steering unit I have is mounted as you discribed (up close to the steering support post), and after scrapeing off grease and dirt from the pump in front of the distributor I see it is also made by Behlen. Thanks for the reply, I reckon I'll have to live without "live power", and I need to clean everything up better to see exactly what I have. This poor old M has been rode hard and put away wet, too many times (plus the sad fact, I don't know much about tractors). LOL RoninKS
