How does he want to sell it? If he wants to sell it on Ebay, then I would have him think hard and strong about the minimum he wants for it, and then set that as the reserve limit. Anything over that is bonus. Being a recent H buyer, I have, and am still watching the Ebay market for H's. The tractors listing for over two grand are just not moving. Usually they are selling for around $1000. (more or less depending on the tractor's condition.) Steel wheels are a major deal killer for me. But there may be other's that are looking for that sort of thing. There is a '39 steel wheel on Ebay right now. I can't get into Ebay at work to get you a link, but I saw it. Watch and see how it does for a gauge on pricing.
