There should be a prefix on the s/n plate that tells the model number, if it hasn't worn off. My 100 has the prefix "100-" before the s/n, like so: 100-15958J This'll tell the model number for sure - if it is still there. Otherwise, what about checking the engine serial number? I'm not sure if Harvester reset engine serial numbers to 501(or however they did it) with the introduction of the 130. I wouldn't think they'd reset it. It's another thing to check . . .
