Most if not all tires have recommended rim size molded on sidewall. Just looked at the following...9.5 x 24 Armstrongs on 8 inch rim...12.4 x 38 Firestones on 11 inch rim...13.6 x 38 Uniroyals on 12 inch rim...15.5 x 38 Goodyears on 14 inch rim. The 12.4 x 38 was also branded replaces 11 x 38 and the 13.6 x 38 was branded replaces 12 x 38.
