Karl: Your very likely right, if you didn't remove the cap, you'd probably have all the wires off by the time your done. I knock on wood every time I see one of you guys rebuilding that little pump or the touch control. In 48 years I've never had either apart. I have had the pump off a couple of them, when I sent the engine for a rebuild. One of these days the laws of average will catch up with me.
