Ok...gonna ask you guys that know more than me. I have a mess of 300 and 350U tractors setting around...some mine, some were dad's and some I bought. I pulled a 350U home last night that is a good tractor except the owner ran it without oil...he said his kid did. Anyway...the sheet metal is perfect, has PS and a good looking lift on it. Just a good looking tractor...with a hole in the block. I have a 350U LP that dad had. The fuel system is junk...even he said so. He said once got it for parts. No lift, no PS and a straight PTO...not live. It had a loader and that's it. I am wondering...can I put the engine on the better 350U with a carb and fuel tank? I know the compression ratio is higher and it will have to have lead substute for the fuel, but bottom line will it work? Any ideas? I am always open to your input. Thanks.....
