Hey guys, still trying to progress on my H. I got 1 bad piston and sleeve, I called Case IH today and tried to see if I could get just the one piston and sleeve and I found out they don't sell them individually and I would have to order the whole set for $300, so it looks like thats what I will do. How come these fire craters are cheaper than the flat topped ones?, seems to me that the stepped head pistons would be more expensive to make and also more desirable since they make more power so shouldn't it be the other way around?. Is the life expectancy shorter for fire crater equipped engine?. Does the stepped head pistons hurt the lugging ability?. Thanks once again YTMAG community!,
