yea those fences can bite, I can remember fixing a fence when my now oldest son was 3-4. I forget exactly what we were doing, I think unraveling a barb that shorted on the hot wire but he was on my lap helping dad, he had his "real" hammer, well the rubber must not be real rubber because it sure didnt save us from ending up on both of our butts about 5 feet away from the fence after his hammer touched the live wire,, but they survive, they will still check my fences for me with no tester[9 and 14 now], they ask dad is this on, I say yup, they say you sure?? I say yup,they say should we test it? I know its on it dont need testing, well I am going to check it dad, grabs hold of it and says yup dad its still working,they kind of do it as a joke now, I still need my tester, although the fences still bite me unknowingly, hurts worse now that I have a titanium rod in my leg, that really smarts,
