Charles: Now, there is an idea. I was doing some bulldozing around one of those pivots this summer, I didn't go up close and look, however they were a similar tread to Field and Road. They were not new by any means, but again I didn't go close, didn't see any weather checking. I must ask the owner about those. Your right, those see the elements 365 days per year. It will be interesting to see how well your tires stand up to weather checking. I never remember this weather checking being such a problem when I was farming. I suppose tractors were clocking enough hours, the tires were only around 6-10 years. I guess the part that really annoys me with these Field and Road I have, I see very faint signs of weather checking already at 10 months on tractor. I did buy them close to 2 years ago but they stood in a dark corner my shed, tubes inflated in them and covered with some old carpet.
