lights won't dim

I have a 1950 Super A. both lights front and rear lights was working fine on both bright and dim. after cranking it up tonight I found the front lights won't work on dim, the tail light works both ways. I have no ideal what the problem could be, or where to find the parts to fix it. It has been converted to a 12V system. can anyone tell me what might fix my problem, and where I find the parts? Thanks
