Sounds fishy, especially since you say the trans oil pressure light stays on and the filter was just changed. That light staying on indicates that there may be a problem in the MCV circut, which contols steering, brakes, the TA, and trans lube. Could be that the MCV pump is getting weak, could be an internal leak. I'd either run away or be prepared to spend several thousand on repairs.
