High oil pressure on H

I have a 1941 Farmall H. My 9 year old son and I bought it as is with a bad radiator. My thanks to all who helped us out as we were trying to pull the radiator. Got the radiator plugged and tractor starts and runs great. Only problem is the oil pressure gauge (looks original) is running at 75 pounds whenever the tractor is aboe idle. At idle, it runs at about 45-50 pounds. Any ideas on where to start. I thought about changing the gauge and the breather for starts. Any info would be appreciated.
