Other than finding and installing a distributor mount casting from a super M stage 1, Or a earlier M if it is not an IH pump, (with belly pump), that would eliminate the hyd pump entirely. And removing the lines and fittings, the only way I would recommend is to connect the input to the pump to the output with a length of hose filled with hytran oil. this wouild lube the pump while it idled along doing nothing. I strongly recommend having the relief valve looked into, or other possible issues like wrong "O" rings. I believe fixing the system is the best solution. The value of the tractor will be greatest if kept intact. At least keep the components removed in a labeled box that is safe from discard, and identified in the paperwork, so a new owner could rebuild the system. My 2cnts. JimN
