In my humble opinion, you will spend more time in ripping a tractor down to sell for parts than what you are going to get back.

If it's just a transmission problem, that's nothing but a matter of time and a little money to fix. Then at least you will have a saleable item, rather than a pile of leftover pieces that nobody wants.

Just remember, these things were designed and built by humans, and can be repaired by the same species.
