My MTA was hooked up to the tractors hydraulic system and worked extremely well. It had the Char-lynn unit which was under the hood just ahead of the U-joint. I have a Farmall 350 now which came from the factory with Behlen power steering, the unit is put in the steering shaft above the engine valve cover. I know it is all original because I am the second owner and I bought it from my neighbor just across the road. I did have to re-seal the Behlen about a year ago and got all the parts at Case-IH. The Char-Lynn does steer a little easier than the Behlen.
