What the "person" did was set this tapered metal punch on top of the shroud. When my friend drove the tractor up onto the trailer the punch rolled off the shroud and fell into the fan and made the mess. The best pre-flight wouldn't have found this . The "person" had to reach way up in and place that punch where it was. They knew what damage it would do. The more I think about this the more I realise that this wasn't some kid being stupid. Someone deliberately did this. I'll probably never know who, but to repeat- I'll never go back to that fair again. Armed guards really don't sound like a bad idea, though. Regarding your kind offer to ease my pain- Naaah! Nice try, though. I've tried that several times myself so all I can tell you is keep trying, Sparky. Regards- Craig
