I contacted Force America using this page: http://www.forceamerica.com/contact.asp?PageID=1 to find out if they had a kit for the char lynn torque generator unit I have. On the body of the unit, mine says MOD S 101 (P or F) can"t tell for sure. Told them it was on a SMTA. They e-mailed back and they have the kit. It is kit or part # 21122-000. The cost for the kit was $20.72. UPS shipping was about $10 on top of that, so it was about $30 all together. To order the seal kit, I called 1-888-99FORCE which is 1888-993-6723 and asked for Parts. Paid with a credit card. They are located at 501 East Cliff Rd., Burnsville, MN 55337. The kit is a Char-LYnn, Eaton kit and has 9 seals in it. There are 4 large seals in the kit for the unit body on newer units. I did not need these 4 large seals because the older units did not need them. I put 3 in the unit (both shaft ends and 1 as a body seal where it bolts up) and then there are 2 little ones that are for where the hoses attach. It will use 5 of the 9 seals in the kit. It is fairly easy to do, however the little allan bolts were very tight on it. I score a couple of lines in the paint across the body to make sure I could line everything back up right when I put it back together. Did this on both ends. The shaft seals that I took out of it where not the right ones for the unit which is why it leaked, no doubt. The kit has directions with a diagram of the entire unit and provides clear information about where each seal goes. The kit instructions say for No. 21122, Buna N (I don"t know what Buna N means. The instructions say the kit is from at Eaton Corporation, Hydraulics Division, 15151 Highway 5, Eden Prairie, MN 55344, telephone is 612-937-9800. Hopefully, I have it all together right and I"ll put it back in the M today. It will sure be nice to have that leak stopped. I am going to clean all of the old fluid off the engine with some degreaser. That leaking has really bothered me for years and I always had to add power steering fluid. To add fluid, the hood had to come off.

Ford Super Dexta - by Anthony West. The rusty blue tractor caught my eye as my truck zipped by the farm implement business. It looked so fornlorn amongst the lineup of newer equipment. But it was just the right size for my small farm. I stopped in and asked the proprietor for further information. "It's a 64 Ford Super Dexta", he said. "It's a tough little tractor, although it's a hard starter being a diesel and all." He did manage to get it running, compliments of a can of ether. Once started it putted along pretty good. It
