Come to think of it, you may be right. Some tach faces go to 24(00) and others go to 30(00). A case in point would be the 560 which turns 1800 rpm and the 660 which turns 2400. They use basically the same engine. I presume the tachs have different scales and different calibration. The parts book gives them different numbers by one digit.
