Question for 15-30 Owners

Do all 15-30 belt pulley slingers leak grease? We have 85-140 wt. lube in the gear case. The slinger is clean, but still leaks. Would we benefit by using straight 140 wt, or would it still leak, but just be harder to clean up? Our pulley turns, when the engine is running. Would it leak less, if we found a way to keep it from turning? Need to hear your experiences.
