Couple of items to consider.
First make sure the block is very CLEAN use some type of cleaning agent to get rid of all old residue from inside the block. Also use a pick or other sharp object to clean out the lip on the top where the sleve will insert into the block. Dirt likes to bulid up here and can cause the new sleve to not have the correct stick out.
Second clean the new sleves inside and out with cleaning agent or soap, new sleves are shipped with a covering to protect them from rusting and this needs to come off before installing them.
If you put them in the freezer be careful handeling them becaure they can break very easily. Another tip is to put a trouble light in the block to heat it up a little.
You my want to put apply a little lock tite to the outside of the sleve to insure it stays in place. Make sure though it is rated for the correct temperature.
The sleves should go in fairly easily, make sure they go in straight and do not bind up, and keep tapping them down until they hit home.
