I am running a B2 in my tractors (Farmall 826/ Ford 2810) now with no changes noted. I disagree that thre is any power gain to be had from it (according to many sources it has fewer BTUs than diesel), but you don't lose much and the lubricity is improved. I was warned that it does tend to dissolve fuel system gunk. Per the recommendation, I started off with a light mix. That way it lets that stuff get to the fuel filters a little at a time rather than all at once (and plugging them fast). Also, a high mix may have jellling type problems in cold weather much sooner than straight petro diesel. I think biodiesel is great, but it's not the end-all-be-all. It's good for farmers and that's enough to get me behind it. The best part is that it's a good compliment to the new ULSD, which has an uncertain record on lubricity with older engines (or at least unproven in the general public's eyes). Still, I'm not willing to pay a super-premium price for it and ill use it when the prce is reasonable and only in warm weather.
