Just pulled the head on my Super MD. I do not know much about the M diesel engines. It appears I have either a burnt valve or burnt valve seat or both. Do these heads even have valve seats? Am I able to find another valve? Can a good head shop fix it? Also, around the combustion chamber in the head it is pitted and has alot of build up on two cylinders and the other two look black and smooth in the combustion chamber. What does that mean? Any help Is certainly appreciated. Also, where can I get a head gasket for a reasonable price?
