One time wasps or mud dobbers built a nest inside my air cleaner intake tube, and I could get fuel enough to idle but it wouldn't run any higher RPM than that. I thought it was my govenor or linkage, and spend all morning trying to figure it out. The wasps had crawled through the precleaner screen and had the pipe completely pluged.
