There's a difference between repowering a tractor with a modern tractor engine to use, and repowering a tractor with a car engine as a conversation piece.

Car engines do not have governors to react to varying loads. They also turn two to three times as many RPMs as a tractor engine. The rated RPM on an H or M is only 1600 RPMs and car engines turn 5000 RPM. They also put out several times as much horsepower at those high RPMs that the tractor's drivetrain was not designed for.

In short, repowering a car engine is not very useful unless you can overcome those technical issues.
