Ed: Just a sneak preview before I send this IT manual off to you in the morning. I felt my 130 was as your is with only an idle jet. Went to shop just to be sure, and yes my 130 is as you describe in your post. The IT manual however, tries to make a liar out of us. In the parts list for a 100 carburator it lists only an idle jet. Then under 130 and 140 it lists both idle jet and main jet. The manual also has a conflict as my 140 has a completely different carb from my 130. I couldn't read the tag on 140, but as I recall from installing a kit 3 years ago, Marvel-Schebler sticks in my mind. The Carter carb on my Super A is much the same design externally as the Zenith on my 130. The carb on my 140 doesn't even look close. IT book indicates only 404 and 2404 have Marvel-Schebler carb. There are 11 different carbs listed in this IT manual for 100, 200, 130, 230, 140, 240, 404 and 2404. Two are for kero and distillate engines one Carter and one Zenith, two each a Carter and Zenith for 100 and 200 tractors. I'll leave you with that as IT are not using same numbers for carb as you have.

While this may have been the bread and butter of the belt work in the past (since this is what made the money on many farms), the smaller tasks may have been and still can be its real claim to fame. The thresher would bring in the harvest (and income) once a y
