If miss is on one cylinder,crack the bleeders at injectors one at a time to see which cylinder problem is on. Also gives you a idea how good pressure is to injectors and checks for air. If you find a cylinder not up to par, screw a compression tester in spark plug hole and turn engine over with controls in diesel run side. If a starting valve is stuck or leaking very bad the needle on gauge will jump up pretty fast.
