20 years ago a guy had about 40 nice acres. He was at the shop moaning and groaning about the taxes on it. He'd inherited this land. Most of the guys there were just laughing away. Another asked why he kept the land if he didn't need or want it. Guy said nobody would buy it. Guy asked how much he'd take. Guy threw out a low price with no thought in it whatever. Guy pulled out a checkbook and said he'd write a check right there. Every body went silent. Guy had to sell or look stupid. He sold and never ever got over it. Guy put in a trailer park. To this day it's a sore subject nobody talks about it. Dumbest move the guy ever made. Too proud to back down after shootin off at the mouth, he'd gotten suckered.
