350 Utility

Got a line on a 350 utility with power steering and a loader. Thing is, it's a diesel and I don't know a thing about diesels. The guy says the "pump and injectors" have been rebuilt.?? What should I be looking for? Any major problems with this type motor. Heard they're hard to start in the winter. That true? He was asking $3800 and just lowered to $3000 to sell quickly.
