It would probably be an easy conversion, the mechanical swing was quite a simple device, could easily be fabricated by a local shop. How far away from Strathroy are you? I had a thrower with mechanical swing, and if I saw it, could soon tell you how to overcome this. The mechanical swing throwers work fine on level ground. Side hills is where the hydraulic swing counts.
