Plow should go deeper than 5 inches.The plow we have is a single bottom and it will bury clear to the beam.Does a better job than a set of 3 bottoms I have on a 350.Found a picture in a book somewhere of a super A and the plow was bolted on the underside of the front drawbar instead of on top.Made all the difference in the world.Good luck.
