You changed it to 12 volts huh...Did ya change the coil, or put in a resister...Sometimes a 6 volt starter put to 12 volts along with continued cranking will cook the "Miccah" out of the armature and the starter will die a slow death. Do you have a really good ground? How old is the gas in the tank?...today's gas turns to crap very quickly without stable in the tank...Have you got good fuel flow????, really, did ya check it to be certain...Do ya have a nice blue spark at the coil??? did ya check it? Did ya have the distributor out of tractor whilst ya was playing with her??? if so, is it in time??? Did ya check the rotor button location with timing mark at the index pointer? You could have it a half a turn off. There are many reason an M won't start...We need more info on what you did to your little Girl before we can properly diagnose it. Help us to help you...Drew
