Here in NW Ohio, we've also had a ton of rain. The volume isn't
gigantic, but the storms are spaced so that you can never get out
on the fields, which never seen to dry out. Only because I have a
small farm did I get my soybeans off and my winter wheat in. I did
my ground work in conditions that were just over the line into too
moist and the results were barely adequate. Lots of farmers around
here haven't gotten their corn or beans off, or their wheat in. I've
seen two stuck combines and several others with dual or floatation
tires churning through goo to take corn off. A strange fall.
