Re: split weights

Why? I can't speak for others but I use them exclusively for mounting on the inside. It saves me the trouble of removing the wheel. Why the inside? I have five tractors that are heavily weighted. They are running between 12 and 16 weights each. If I stacked them on the outside, they would present a clearance problem in close quarters. I made a tool that mounts on the axle and holds the one peice weights in place while I shove the bolts thru. I only use four long bolts per side.
