oil pressure

I changed the oil in my 57 IH Cub refilled the crankcase with 3 quarts of oil started tractor and now do not have any oil pressure. Does anyone know if there is some kind of valve between the pan and the oil fiter cartridge that could have become stuck or blocked. Any help with this issue would be appreciated.
