Yep. You probably think I'm crazy. But I won't give up hope on restoring my thresher. It's serial number is 7098T & is the oldest one I personally have seen. It still has red on the sprockets & green on the pulleys which is the paint scheme used before the 1/14/1927 paint committee decision #33; but, bears the McCormick - Deering decal borne after 3/8/1926. Not to say it is the oldest... Just the oldest one that I know of. Anyways, I'm trying to find a few parts (not so easy to do in south-eastern Wi. where fields seem to grow houses, not crops, these days!). I need a tensioner pulley for the wind stacker belt, cylinder teeth, feeder apron (at least the wood pieces) & the main drive pulley is starting to separate & needs replacement. A few belts are missing & the drive belt is a little wooley around the edges. A manual written between 1925-26 for the West Pullman made threshers would be helpful, too. Was there a shop manual made for these things? One more question: Can I get away with using crimp-nuts on the wood straw walker bearing bolts instead of the square nuts with the galvanized strip retainers?

Thanks in advance."
