remove the head
spray some wd-40 on the cylinder walls
remove oil pain
unbolt connecting rods
get a 1" wooden dowel... AND POUND AS HARD AS YOU #!*&*&^ CAN, and they WILL come out the top.

this only takes an afternoon to accomplish, and you have to tear it open anyways to re-ring as they are rusted against the cylinder walls.

if you choose to not unstick your engine, just put in neutral and tow her home, that easy.

as far as the loader, I had the same problem once.

get some bottle jacks and raise the loader and chain the arms to the front bolster.
