If there's nothing but hydraulic oil in your engine, the moron at the jiffy lube put hydraulic oil in it, probably using "logic" to conclude that because tractors have hydraulics, they must use hydraulic oil in the engine. If there's just some hydraulic oil in the sump, and the rest is engine oil, how can you tell? Why do IHs lock up the starter? Because they're 50+ or more years old, and things are worn. The engine stops in the same place when you shut it off as a general rule, so one spot on the ring gear is badly worn. The drive gear on the starter is probably pretty well worn too. Replace the starter drive and it'll be better. Split the tractor and flip or replace the ring gear, and it won't lock up for another 50 years.
