F-Dean,JimN, El Toro. Well, I fixed the problem. As I mentioned, number three Tower had no continuity. So with a little bit of bailing wire technology. I solved the problem. I drilled a 3/16 diameter hole from the plug wire side of the cap through to the pickup side. I then took some copper welding rod and the good old torch. Heated up the copper, so that melted and drop through the tower. After it cooled down. I tested the continuity. And it worked. I reinstalled the cap and hooked up plug wire and spark plug to check for spark. I have spark. Not as strong as I would like it but it's there. I have a brand-new condenser, and I'm going to install it. The magnets on the magneto, grab a hold of my screwdriver very well. So that is not a problem. Hopefully by the end of the day I will be back to pushing dirt. Thanks for all your help and information. It definitely will come in handy in the future. And I for one them always willing to learn something new. merv
