560 hyd. oil change problem

I changed the hyd. oil and filter in my 560 and now the steering is really stiff , and the fast hitch is slow and jerky.The manual calls for 16 gallon and i put in 17 , noticed a small leak at the filter cover didnt know if it might be sucking air . Never had this happen before,also have a leak were the steering shaft goes into the box but had it before. Thanks for any help
