Jrry, we bought our 684 about 1983/84. Still running good with about 6500 Hrs. Have replaced clutch/pressure plate and put a T/A eliminator in it last winter.
My brother bought a CIH 3230 newer version of 584 at auction sale for $9000 CND last Saturday. Good luck with yours
