It is probably the coil cap gasket. They are a bear to get seated correctly while you are pushing down against the tension of the spring for the secondary leadout of the coil. I had this on my MD as well, and finally ran a bead of silicone sealer around the gasket surface of the cap, put it on and tightened it down, then ran my fingertip around the underside edge and radiused it nicely. Haven"t had a problem since, and it sits out all the time. Brian
