OK, got it going. Took the starter off and did several tests with a test light and could not get the starter to do anything. Test light kept showing it was getting a good connection.

A friend stopped by that does some motor work and said the starter was stuck. He turned it by hand and then we tested it and heck if it turn. Put it back on and it worked.

Small things sure can drive you crazy when you dont know much about motors.

Now, on to the carb. I see trouble looming.
