Hi Bernard, my brother bought a CIH 3230 at an auction sale last week. Today we tried moving his 2250 loader from his CIH 495 to the 3230, the frame was OK but we ran into problems with the hydraulic connections. On the 495 the pressure line came out of the front top port of the control valve for the rear remote hydraulic outlets and the return goes back in the drain plug under the right rear axle. On the 3230 the control valve for the rear hydraulic outlets already has a steel hydraulic line going into the front port but the rear port has a plug in it but you cannot screw a 90 elbow into it as the steel line going to the front port is to close to the rear hole. You also cannot install a straight pipe as there is no clearance from the seat deck. Questions: 1) Can we just plug the pressure port on the 495 or will there be no where for the hydraulic oil to go but trip the relief valve? 2)How is the correct way to connect the loader control valves from a 2250 loader to a 3230? Merci JB2
